Pictures from the CrossFit Games Northeast Qualifiers.
Our very own Cindy placed 8th for the women, and Will placed 50th for the men. Annie also put out a fantastic effort, completing WODs 1 and 2 as rx’d (and setting a massive PR in WOD 2), and only scaling on the chest to bar pullups in the final WOD.
We haven’t had a chance to caption all of them yet, but we will over the next couple of days. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting all of the great pictures. I know we’ve never met, but I was cheering for you and Kim from Washington! Congrats on placing so high — and all of your hard work! It looks like it was an amazing experience. All of you are incredibly inspiring!

warm up: aerobics class 45 minutes no break
wod: 3 rounds for time 8:30 time screwy due to really bad jump rope which kept getting stuck/twisted – nightmare
100 jump rope
50 squats
25 sit ups

WOD: 5 thrusters, 10 burpees- as many rounds for time of 12min. Got 6 rounds + 5 thrusters + 2 burpees.
Did the crossfit total May 25- 425.

WOD: 5 thrusters, 10 burpees for 12 minutes-as many rounds as possible. I got 5 rounds + 5 thrusters + 8 burpees.

Did the “Michael” 4/27/09~ 38:25. Today 5/27/09~ 33:10. Cut 5:15 off my time in one month. Still can not run up the darn hill but apparently picked up speed every where else!

They should encourage more women to compete and scale, we all put our best into it. Danielle.. that’s great, that’s the way to increase your workout! You are getting it and doing well.
