    WOD:

    Northeast Qualifier WOD 1

    AMRAP 12 minutes:

    7 Thrusters 135 / 95

    10 Burpees

    This WOD is not about managing the workout – this WOD is about reckless abandon. You should be laying on the ground writhing when you are done. Focus on form, use the big muscles, and bring it hard.

    As we count down the The Playground’s one year anniversary, we’re having a good time digging through old pictures and finding some good ones of people from the beginning. A true statement for The Playground as a community, the athletes, and the coaches: we’ve come a long way, baby!

    This week’s schedule:

    Monday = 5:15AM, 9AM and 5PM
    Tuesday = 5PM
    Wednesday = 5:15AM, 9AM (NO EVENING SESSION – ITS WILL’S B-DAY)
    Thursday = 5PM
    Friday = All sessions
    Saturday = Off
    Sunday = 9:30AM to 11:00AM

    Is that Eileen? Glad you lost the frump …now you are a Hot Mama! I hope you threw away those sweats, you won’t be needing them again.

    OK, last time I did this WOD 6 months ago, I had to break the 95 lbs into clean and jerks, couldn’t even do the thrusters.

    Oh yes i remember this WOD.. 95LB is a lot of weight to be throwing around overhead – even for 70′sbig! hehe.

    i am a little too tired this morning. out partying it up 80′s style. Will certainly does have fun friends – good times.

    I thought it looked a little off, it was 5 thrusters not 7. I only did 2 rounds + 4.5 thrusters.

    WOD 1:
    As Many Rounds as Possible in 12 Minutes of:
    5 Thrusters 135 Men / 95 Women
    10 Burpees

    WOD 2:
    ROW 2000 Meters on the Concept 2 Rower

    WOD 3:
    10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 3, 2, 1 Reps
    of the following triplet for time:
    Power Cleans (155/105)
    Pull-ups (C2B)
    KB Swings (1.5pood/1pood)

    yeah when they first announced the NEQ WODs they had it as 7 thrusters and 15 burpees AMRAP – 12 MINUTES. But apparently people who did this WOD previously as 5/10 complained to the guy running the Qualifier and they changed it – claiming it was a typo….

    WOD 2: row 2000m 8:21 (PR) thanks for the help Will, would have slowed down at 1000 if you weren’t looking over my shoulder :o )

    WOD 3 tomorrow? there was a time limit on the WOD, was it 15 minutes?

    …couldn’t imagine doing this as rx’d. Annie, I love that you are so hopeful for me! …exceptional 2k row after hitting the NEQ! Tori and Cath, the turtkey burn under an hour is true endurence, you did the work, and you grinded it out! Terrific job everyone~ I liked the hanging out catching the last few warm rays autumn has left to give us part! Good company, good times! Cin, see you for the morning show at 9?

    Did this today, but messed it up. Not sure where I came up with 15 burpees.

    7 Thrusters 135#
    15 burpees

    3 rounds, 4 thrusters.

    Pushup challenge:
    100 pushups, 4×25
    missed 2 days last week, behind by 200 pushups
