Try to focus on dynamic stretching during your warm-up rather than static. Do static stretching for your cool down. Check in with the coaches to come up with a warm-up that is suitable for the WOD, and works your goat. Come prepare with your ideas.

My shoulders were pretty sore this morning, I decided to take an extra rest day. However, I’ll probably run this afternoon. I’ll be there tomorrow night and Wed. morning.

Bailey – feel better.
J.J. – Run like a bear is chasing you.
Did this one with jumping MU’s – Chest still detonated from Saturday’s pushup festival. Combined with a weekend of eating like crap, the recovery wasn’t there.
38:22 and totally destroyed.
It’s a rare day indeed when I’m looking forward to a WOD with running in it.

And a quick digression on Tom’s PR:
Tom’s bodyweight is about 155. He (easily, because of evil trickery) pulled 355 for 1. That’s 229% of his bodyweight, which is pretty solid. He had 370 to his knee, but got pitched forward and had to bail. 400 is in the cards for Tom this year, no doubt.
Think about your goals in this syntax, let us know what they are, and we’ll help you develop a plan to attain them.
Oh, and the evil trickery part was that we loaded the bar to 355 but told him it was only 345 (his old PR). He ripped it up like it was nothing.

Hi Guys, Tom and I will do the stair race, if there’s still room on the team. However, I’ll likely be the weakest link in this team, so you can just take Tom if you want, I won’t be insulted.
