    Nice work nailing the five rounds of “Mary” everyone. Tamarah great job getting inverted for the first time in a WOD, you did fantastic. J.J, your pistols were awesome. And last but not least, Eileen got her kip down tonight. Time for all kipping pull-ups during your WOD’s Eileen!

    Way to grind it out folks. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings.

    Thanks Cin for the extra kip coaching! It really made the difference in my being able to do it. Thanks to Tom as well for the demo help. After doing “Helen” I didn’t feel like practicing kips and he talked me into it. Now I’m so glad he did. It was really time that I learned them. Definitely kips only in my WODs from now on. And the next stop is no band.

    Billie, you’re this close to kipping, keep up the practice.

    Thanks for the great workout. Having a new morning group and some great coaching is already really helping me a lot. I was particularly happy in round 6 when I realized we were doing 10 rounds. For some reason my mind slipped at round 2 and convinced me we were dong 15 rounds. I think I need a better diet. Can’t think and want to get sick seem to be common for me. PS one strip of silver duck tape on my shins made a huge difference.

    95lb deads

    Nice working out with the morning crew minus 2… We missed you Joyce and Suzanne – will see you on Friday. I am definitely feeling today’s WOD – knew it when I finished the last of the deads that I would be needing a nap. This baby doesn’t like deadlifts.. now i am starting to think its a girl!!

    Nice work with 95lb deads. Your form looked great!

    Full-extension C2D push-ups are tough. Push-ups require lots strength, particularly in the chest, and core.

    focus on keeping your core tight, and aligned. We can work on form tomorrow.
