WOD:
“Barbara”
Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats
Rest precisely three minutes between each round.
This one is going to be a gasser from hell.
To the right, Annie rocking out a PR in the deadlift to wrap up her CrossFit Total yesterday. She PR’d across the board for a banner day. Great work, Annie!
A late in the day update, some pictures from today’s workout:

Barbara, Babs, Bobbie – so nice to meet you!
Not quite as rx’d yet; Jumping pull-ups, push-up with knees down
R1 – 5:24
R2 – 6:32
R3 – 6:16
R4 – 5:47
R5 – 4:53
Considering that Cindy and I did Bikram Yoga (90 minutes) this AM, I am pretty psyched that I even attempted this, let alone completed it. I didn’t know if I could get even one set of the sit-ups in, but I got them all, last set unbroken. Looking forward to when I can write that I did this one as rx’d.

I totally detonated in round three. It was pathetic. Much as I would love to blame the Total yesterday, I’ve got to blame the “chicken wings and beer” dinner I had last night. Diet, diet, diet, but I had to celebrate the 500 pound dead, I guess.
On the bright side, first 2 rounds of pullups were unbroken.
On the even brighter side, Joe stuck around after his WOD to help me move the kayaks out of the WOD bay of the garage, so we are now boat free in the workout area. Thanks for the help, Joe.

[...] sets of one rep are the workouts that make us stronger. Your legs may still be sore from the Barbara we did on January 25, your core may still be trashed from the January 26th GHD and back extension workout – that’s [...]
